据台湾“中央社”1月5日报道,美国哈佛大学一项最新研究指出,每天食用燕麦粥、糙米或玉米等富含纤维的食品,有助保护心脏,降低死亡率。
英国媒体报道,哈佛大学对10万名民众进行超过14年的追踪调查,调查人员研究他们的饮食内容及健康状况,1984年开始进行研究时,受访者健康状况都很良好,2010年再进行调查时,已有2.6万人死亡。
研究人员发现,每天食用约28公克的全麦,约等同于1小碗的燕麦粥,整体死亡率可降低5%,心脏病死亡率更可减少9%。
哈佛大学公共卫生学院负责这项研究的Hongyu Wu指出,研究结果再证实,目前建议的全麦饮食是正确的方向,同时多食用全麦食品,有助延年益寿。
即使将不同的年龄,是否抽烟,身体质量指数(BMI)及体能活动等因素都考虑在内,研究的结果仍是一样,证实全麦食品对身体健康非常有帮助。

On January 5, Taiwan's Central News Agency reported that, a new study from Harvard University pointed out that the daily consumption of oatmeal, brown rice, corn or other fiber-rich foods can help protect the heart and reduce mortality.
British media reported that Harvard University conducted on 100,000 people over 14 years of follow-up investigation, the investigators studied the content of their diet and health, the study began in1984 and the respondents were in good health, while there were 26,000 deaths in 2010 survey.
The researchers found that 28 grams of whole grains per day, is approximately equivalent to a small bowl of oatmeal, the overall mortality rate can be reduced by 5% and heart disease mortality rates can be reduced by 9%.
Hongyu Wu, is from Harvard School of Public Health and responsible for the study. He pointed out that the results confirmed again that the current proposal of whole wheat diet is the right direction, while having whole grains can help prolong life.
Even though different age, smoking, body mass index (BMI) and physical activity and other factors are taken into account, the result is still the same, whole grain food is very helpful to your health.
